Fees and Rebates
Our current session fees are listed below. Medicare rebates apply for individual therapy fees during psychological therapy sessions when you have a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan and a referral from your GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician.
At Felix Psychology, we ensure that our session fees remain below the schedule recommended by the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPi). For the financial year 2025–2026, the AAPi’s recommended fee for a standard 40–60 minute psychological consultation is $330.
Payments can be made conveniently and securely—either automatically from the credit card saved in your client booking portal or at the time of your session (EFTPOS). Medicare rebates will be automatically credited to the bank account associated with your Medicare details following your session.

A 50+ minute session eligible for a Medicare rebate of $98.95 (out-of-pocket fee of $141.05)
Couples Therapy
Couples Therapy
A 50+ minute couples therapy session. Not eligible for Medicare rebates. Private health rebates may apply depending on your level cover.
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice so that the time can be offered to another client who may be waiting for support. An $80 cancellation fee applies for sessions unattended or cancelled within 24 hours, which is important to note alongside our bulk billing psychology options. Non-attendance or missed appointments are charged at the full session fee.
